I opened a Gmail to use for my WhatsApp account back up. The phone's screen broken and when replaced the phone was wiped/reset.

I tried to restore the WhatsApp but my passwords are wrong.

I've tried several passwords with no luck. Tried to recover it and Google says use a device you've used before. It's the same device but as it's been wiped and rest it appears it's been seen as a new one.

How can I recover My account? I actually have access to the inbox as I added it to an email client but I don't recall the password. It's Yahoo email client but it doesn't show the password used to set it up and Google doesn't offer to send a link to the email to reset the password or to the mobile. It says there's insufficient information.

Please I have so much info in the WhatsApp in particular one that proves a photographer owes me money.

So it's an old email and i fucked up. I made the email in 2018 and have it on my phone since without thinking much about it. Now I want to change my phone but I completely forgot the password without any backup and I can't even remember what I put as the security question but I do still have access to it on my old phone. I never logged my email on any other device so this old phone is the only thing I got to access it.

Is there any way I can use this small silver lining to change the password and gain access back or am I stuck with the old phone and have that as the only way to access my email? Can I have Gmail send an email to change my own password in my own email inbox, or am I out of luck?
