What is the best motherboard compatible with intel core i7-13900k for heavy gamers?
Cheapest i7 Motherboard and Cpu combo?
Dont mind even first generation i7s
this is very confusing. why are you so committed to the label of i7? a newer i3 like the 12100f will be a lot faster than even a somewhat more recent i7 like the 7700k, let alone a 1st gen i7
More on reddit.comAre there any motherboards that support dual i7 processors?
Core i7 Motherboard Compatibility ?

I am trying to buy my bf pc parts but i know absolutely nothing about pc or their inner workings. i hacked into his amazon though and noticed that he has been looking at this CPU. Please help! added noted i am not wealthy so keep recommendation to a reasonable price please.
Might come as a weird question. Its for an extreme budget build. Don’t mind used because it needs to be as cheap as possible. Prefer black motherboards but if a green or blue one is cheaper I can do that. (Dont mind even first generation i7s!) Thanks!!

I don’t think you understand how silly this sounds
A current Gen i3 will be miles faster and more efficient than a first Gen i7
No point limiting yourself with this bizarre criteria
No, you need a server grade stuff for dual processors.
I’ve found many server/workstation mobo’s that support dual Xeon’s, but none that specifically state they support dual i7’s. Does such a thing exist? Or because they are ‘desktop’ CPU’s, they’re limited to 1?
Example: Could you use Core i7-5930K’s in an Asus Z10PA-D8 mobo?
Reason i ask is i would like to build a Gaming/Workstation PC here in the next few months. I have been out of the PC arena since prior to the release of the Core 2 line of CPU’s, so all this stuff is a bit new. A server isn’t totally out of the question, but i’d prefer to build it myself.
I’m looking to build a PC that can do quite a bit. It will be my gaming PC that i need to be able to simultaneously transcode multiple 1080p streams via Plex ( reference here ). I’m estimating i will have on average 5 simultaneous transcodes happening at once, at any given time. Using their (Plex’s) guide, that would require a passmark score of ~10,000. While i’m sure a single Core i7-5930K (13k passmark) could handle that, i want to be able to play a game, or do whatever else i please without it affecting performance. I may also have a few VM’s running for various projects or testing/learning at any given time.
I’m aware RAM/HDD will also be a factor in performance: I planned on having no less than 4x 1TB Samsung SSD’s, and >= 64GB RAM.
A Server may be my best, but i just wanted to know if it was possible.
Thanks.
