I built my first PC and went all out with Corsair's most expensive AIO and QX fans. iCUE software does not detect them, or my motherboard. Everything is running in their default rainbow mode. My Corsair K70 RGB keyboard, Dark Core Pro SE mouse, and MM700 mousepad are detected in iCUE, as well as my ASUS TUF 4070 Ti Super OC, only after installing armoury crate.
My motherboard is the new MSI MPG Z790 Carbon Max Wifi II...
Since Friday my software stopped recognizing my RAM, fans, and motherboard but still acknowledges my K55 and HS65 headphones. On top of that neither does it want to open on boot up. Has anyone else had this trouble and found a fix for it? I'm thinking of just deleting and reinstalling the software but don't want to end up deleting my profiles.
I have generic led strips with one connected to my commander core xt that suddenly went out. While checking the connection I knocked a drive cage cover off the back of my PC (just fell behind it) and then suddenly all my fans stopped moving with the LEDs still on.
I got a commander pro, commander core xt, 3 lightning node cores with 10 QL fans.
ICUE isn't detecting any of them. It's only detecting my keyboard, mousepad and mouse currently. I've attempted to reinstall, reseat connections, switch USB 2.0 slots and nothing has changed. I clean installed windows and reset every, still nothing has changed.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hey guys, has anyone ever run into an issue where iCue can't seem to read any USB device, at all?
I was loving life with a K70 motherboard, Dark Core Pro SE mouse, Virtuoso Headset, 4 QL-140 and 3 QL-120 fans connected through 2 Commander Core XT's, and 16gbs of Vengence RAM.
I'm not sure what changed, but somehow in the last month iCue is no longer able to display or control anything but the RAM. All the devices can still be used by windows (i.e. the mouse, keyboard, and headphones still function) but they won't show up in iCue, and I have completely lost control of my fans. Trying to switch USB ports for the external peripherals causes iCue to crash if it's running.
Clean re-install of iCue didn't fix things.
Other hardware info:
ASUS Tuf x570-Plus WiFi board.
Ryzen 5900X CPU
ASUS Tuf 6900XT GPU
Windows 11 pro
All drivers and software are updated to the most recent releases.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Updates: the problem was only solved after resetting windows completely. And by solved, I mean iCue can now control all USB peripherals but lost the ability to control mobo and GPU RGB.
The following attempted fixes didn't work.
-Updated all ASUS drivers
-Updated Windows to 03 2023 cumulative update 22H2
-Updated AMD Chipset drivers
-Updated BIOS for ASUS TUF X570 to version 4602
-Installing Signal RGB to override other software. (This did identify several other ASUS products that were competing with iCUE, but seemed to make it impossible to uninstall iCUE)
(28March)
- It appears the problem was probably a conflict with Citrix Workspace and iCue, (thanks u/mldewey ) I had already performed a fresh Windows install at that point, so can't be sure.
Corsair finally did respond to the ticket request 18 days after submission. Their recommendation was to reinstall iCue....
