It is showing an "A0" which means "IDE initialization is started." What does this mean? It has been on this for quile a long time (a full day) now. Computer freezes while starting applications like browser, spotify etc. and iit needs a reset to work properly. sometimes i have to follow this procedure 4-5 times on repeat to end this. Recently i had a format, also a colleague of mine insisted that i update the bios. The specs are the following.
cpu: i5-4690k 3,5 ghz
mobo: gigabyte z97 gaming g1 sniper
ram: 2x corsair vengeance 4gb ddr3 1600Mhz + 2x corsair vengeance PRO 4gb ddr3 1600Mhz ( 16gb in total )
psu: corsair cx 750w80 plus bronze
gpu: gigabyte geforce gtx 760
ssd: samsung 840 pro 128 gb sata 3
hdd: western digital caviar blue 1TB sata 3

Just booted up my first build and it's just sitting at IDE initialization, is it supposed to take a long time? I also see nothing on my monitor ami supposed to? And if everything is normal what elso should I look out for?
