To remove the license key:
- Find the IntelliJ configuration directory
- Find the .key license file
- Remove or rename the .key license file
In my case on a Windows 7 machine I could find this license key in C:\Users\you\.IntelliJIdea13\config\idea13.key

I have. I can tell you that the path you are taking is more closely representing a venture than a licensing deal. In short, you are way over doing it. Doing things that aren't critical to the process. Which is doing nothing but diminishing the value you could potentially get out of it. The basic process for licensing is to create a sell sheet. On that sell sheet you put some sort of depiction of the invention. Which can be a picture of a prototype, 3D model or hand drawing illustration. The general rule of thumb is to use the bare minimum you need to get the point across (The Lean Startup). On the sell sheet, you also need to make the case of what is in it for them. Then, you build as large of list as you can of potential companies to license too, and their contact info. Then when done with that, do it again and make the list longer. You are going to get a lot of "no". It's a numbers game. Then, consider if you need a provisional patent or not. It depends on the situation. But filing one is pretty cheap. You have one year from filing, which is why you need that big list before hand. You don't want to waste that year building lists. Then reach out. There is a really good YouTube series by InventRightTV that has a ton of content. More on reddit.com
