I’m desperately searching for a white 8-drawer Hemnes dresser. They’ve been out of stock forever online and at my nearest store (about 4 hours away). I got a notification the other day that they were available for shipping to my zip code, but the listing still said “out of stock online”, so I couldn’t order one even though the website still said available for shipping for days.

I finally decided to do some more investigating, and I found a bunch of posts from a few months ago saying that customer service told people the Hemnes is being discontinued, having some safety issues reworked, and then coming out under a new name. Since I need the dresser for a baby arriving in April, I decided to reach out for confirmation myself, and the person I talked to said it wasn’t being discontinued and will be restocked in stores.

I just don’t even know what to think now. Does anyone have any insight? Or any idea of how often the dresser gets restocked online? I’ve got notifications set up, and I’ve been stalking the website for a month with no luck. I’ve been to every other furniture store near me, and literally none of the sell a simple plain white dresser, let alone one with the same dimensions as the Hemnes.
