OLOV adjustable legs - diameter? Distance from edge of table?
I'm looking to build a custom studio desk that involves fitting an electric piano under the 59"x27.5" LINNMON tabletop and want to use OLOV adjustable legs for it. The piano is 52.25" wide so the tabletop is wide enough, but I am concerned that the legs might make the space under the table too tight to fit it since they are further in from the edges of the table. Does anyone happen to know what the diameter of the OLOV legs are, and if I'm lucky, how far in from the edge of the LINNMON table they would be? I assume these measurements for the OLOV/LINNMON combo might be similar for other IKEA leg/tabletop combos, but I have not been able to find this info anywhere online. Ultimately I am looking for the exact distance in this pic since that will tell me if there is space to fit the piano under this desk. Thanks! More on reddit.com

Hello! I was thinking of getting four OLOV legs so that the entire desk is adjustable. I have a body shape where I have long legs but a short body, so when I sit down at most traditional desks my shoulders are hunched up. If I raise my chair so that it's comfortable, my legs start to dangle. I have a foot rest but it's not the best.
I want to use four OLOV legs on something like the MALSKYTT or EKBACKEN (in Ash). Would this work or would it cause them to sag almost immediately? I have a monitor arm for two monitors (both 27"), and planning on putting my NZXT Phantom on the desk, along with various other items/peripherals. If some sort of horizontal brace is recommended, please feel free to drop the link, but I'm in Canada so I'm not sure if American Amazon Links would work for me.

The legs are strong but the counter top will sag. You need 1 Olov more for the middle of the table, you can mount it in the middle but close to the wall. With Alex drawers it will be much better because the leg space is narrower so it will sag less. That being said, with olov legs only you will have lots of wobble. Alex drawers will eliminate that. If you chose to get 2 Alex drawers, then get 1 Olov for the middle and mount it close to the wall. It will be much more expensive but you will have a much better desk! If you want to raise the desk, then get desk risers in the length of your choice. Mount them on top of Alex drawers so it will carry the table top.
