March 24, 2024Anyone have experience with t he Jokkmokk bar table and chairs?
I picked it the Jokkmokk a few months ago and have been really happy with it. I did change out the tabletop surface for a different one though. I was nervous about the chairs feeling cheap or wobbly, and used wood glue on the legs throughout the install. So far no issues with it. Hey all! I’m looking at this Ikea bar table to function as an island in front of my kitchen countertop since actual islands are out of my budget.
What I’m concerned about is the height of this bar table which is 41” and my countertop is the standard 36” height. I know there are some full kitchens that have islands that are higher than the counter top. But I’m wondering if that won’t suit my kitchen space since it’s a relatively smaller kitchen space compared to a full kitchen in a house.
Would the height difference stand out a lot?
