We paid a carpenter to build a frame and add another couple of doors horizontally above it, which gives us access to the space above, but with a built in look. I’ve just tried it on a tablet and it works fine for me. Once you have the room started from scratch, on the right hand side, you might have to scroll that bit up, is an option for ‘Room Design’ where you can set dimensions. The options on the right I have (in top down order) are; Frames Doors, Handles, Interiors, Organisers, Lights, Room Design. More on reddit.com

Yupp, the update has been developed over the last 6 years. Many clever ideas go into that. It will be much easier to assemble as well, and can be built up in tighter spaces now and by only one person. This will also reduce the price for the assembly service in most markets as it takes less time. More on reddit.com

I have a 155cm W x 60cm D x 231cm high corner alcove in my bedroom and am looking at the pax system to make a built in wardrobe there.
As the alcove is only 231cm high, it is too small for the bigger pax frames, but leaves us with a 30cm gap for the smaller pax frames.
I ideally would like to make use of the 30cm space above but I don’t want to ruin the build in effect, husband is of the opinion we can get rid of the coving running across the top of the alcove, run it around the inside of the alcove instead and then put boxes up there but I feel like it would look daft and I would rather box it in completely, unless there is any hacks to add a drawer underneath? Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Consider the 236cm height frames. You have about 0-50mm you can trim off the bottom of the panels. This will enable your frames to fit into your space. If there is carpet, you can consider cutting it out in the area the wardrobe will be assembled to give you more room. I've attached a video link you can watch. Cutting IKEA PAX
