I have had plenty of IKEA bedding since I used to work there. I liked the duvet covers, I had one made of lyocell/cotton and one made of cotton. Your sheets are made of lyocell, I had the upgraded version called NATTJASMIN and they always made my hair frizzy in the back. Here are some 100% cotton duvet covers from IKEA I think you would also like: BERGPALM ÄNGSLILJA BLÅVINDA GULBJÖRK I would avoid DVALA, it’s scratchy, and any duvet cover with polyester/cotton blend or polyester. Can’t speak to this one specifically but I got their wool duvet insert recently and I like it a lot. Two things to keep in mind about duvet covers for IKEA inserts. The inserts are not standard sizes so if you get a cover from elsewhere it may not fit precisely. Not necessarily a deal breaker but the other thing is that the inserts don’t have loops either so you could have some movement if the cover is too large. Best to get a duvet cover from IKEA for the best fit. I got linen duvet cover for winter and a cotton/lyocell cover for warmer months and both are great and relatively low priced compared to other stores. More on reddit.com

We got the IKEA wool insert and we like it a lot but we sleep hot so had to adjust what sheets and duvet cover we use along with it in order to avoid overheating. Percale or lower thread count sateen sheets were a must for us. We started with a linen duvet cover but it got a little heavy on warmer nights so swapped in a cotton/lyocell cover which helped. We also sleep on a wool mattress topper. Wool duvet + flannel sheets and a Pendleton blanket on top makes me shvitz just thinking about it but if your room temp is in the 50s you’re probably fine. I'm moving into college soon and I am buying stuff for my bedroom. I've never really used comforters, duvets, or any standard bed sheets for my bed. I've been using old blankets from when I was like 10 and covering my bed in an old comforter thats probably the same age as me. I'd really like to make my new room look a lot nicer than it has been recently. Does anyone know if Ikea has quality bed sheets that are budget-friendly?

their cotton sheets are great, I love the dvala bottom sheets with elastics, bought several of those lol. and for the rest I got the blue square set , but their duvet cover sizes are very weird, my ikea only carries 150cm or 240cm, one is too tiny, the other one droops over the floor :/

I like the set up they have for warmth/coolness (for the duvet), the price-points, and the variety. Ive been using IKEA bedding since I was a kid. I like that they have 100% cotton options, as i find that most comfortable. I use them at home, and extended family use them at their Bed and Breakfast. They are good value for what you get and the return policy is excellent. My only advice is to stay away from the lowest price-point; Go for mid-level and you'll be happy.

I have this one https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/varbraecka-duvet-cover-and-pillowcase-s-beige-white-80412592/ and I really like the texture. I want more pillow cases but they don't sell them individually like some of the others. I would like to know what other duvets feel like these, if anyone knows. It feels like a brushed thread, very soft and smooth for a cheaper/low tc bedlinen.
I have Ullvide sheet set and it's ok but I don't like it for pillow cases, they pull my hair too much.
I wanted to buy more 3b studio Viscose pillow cases but I guess most people here know about the sad story of these being discontinued XD.

Hi Everyone,
My Fiancé sleeps hot and I am in the market to get a new Duvet Cover that is linen & Duvet insert that is breathable. Since our current Duvet Cover is from Amazon (MooMee, 100% cotton) with a Down Alternative comforter (Costco, probably polyester).
I haven’t landed on a Duvet Cover yet but I wanted to see if anyone has used this insert before and if they would recommend it to a semi-hot sleeper (Me)

You get what you pay for with IKEA, but my kids have had a couple of these and they’ve been through the wash lots and have held up fine
