Is the IKEA Finnala the best sectional for the price?

If you own an ikea sectional please tell me your experience. We are looking into getting a kivik. I don’t love the upholstery options, though.
I’ve spent MONTHS searching for a sectional—specifically “low toxic” and I’m exhausted haha we can’t afford 10 k for a fully latex/wood sectional right now and with little babies I don’t know if I want to spend $$$ on a couch that is going to be used and abused by toddlers and dogs for the foreseeable future.
3 years ago we bought a cheap ish sectional from The Brick (we're in Canada) and it has not held up. We find it uncomfortable and the upholstery is ripped. We were hoping it would last us until our kids are no longer toddlers but it's not looking that way and we're going to replace it.
We are planning the next couch to be an "interim" couch. Aka one to last us through the little kid years, stand up to a beating and be replaced in 5-7 years with a nicer couch. We also have a small dog who practically lives on the couch.
For these reasons, we are considering just getting an IKEA couch. They're readily available, the covers can be removed and washed, and most of them are modular (we will be moving soon as well). We are open to other stores but where we live there aren't a lot of showrooms to test out couches and we don't want to buy a couch online without trying it first.
Are there any particular Ikea sectionals that are better than the rest? We're hoping to keep costs under $3.5k.
