Hi everyone! I bought a malm 6 chest drawer recently and after assembling I found the bottom the drawer doesn’t slide in and out properly. Here is the video and photo. The drawer doesn’t sit flush to the bottom of the frame and when I pull it out it drops down and when I close it I have to lift it up. I swapped out other drawers and it was the same situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Usually when a drawer has difficulty sliding like that it's because the drawer rails - either on the drawer or on the dresser - are not properly installed. You say the same happens in that location when you swap drawers, so that indicates the problem is on the dresser. Most likely on the screws for the drawer rails there are not flat and screwed in all the way, so the drawer catches on the screw. I would check the drawer rails on the dresser there and ensure they're both securely attached. Also, the bottom piece on the front of the dresser is installed upside-down - you can see the plastic foot on top of it, which is supposed to be sitting on the floor.

Hi, I recently installed the Pax wardrobe with several Komplement drawers. I was disappointed to find that the drawers don't roll smoothly. They are loud and feel like they're sticking when I open and close. There is a soft close feature but the drawers get stuck after the soft close engages, so they stick out about an inch unless I push them in manually. Has anyone else had this problem? I called Ikea and they had no knowledge of it.

Hatte das gleiche Problem. Schiene ausgebaut und festgestellt, dass nach 3 Jahren das Fett darin gelb und hart geworden ist. Mit Benzin oder Kettenreiniger gesäubert und wird dann neu gefettet. Ich hoffe aber, dass ich keinen Maschinengeruch dann im Schrank habe 😃

You can either replace the slides with a soft closing model, or you could possibly shoe horn in a damper piston like this one made by Blum.

They work in the same way as the ones in your link (those are made to attach to a hinge) but it can be recessed into a block or, in theory, drilled into a drawer side. The process would be to attach the piston in whatever fashion works with the pin pointed to the back of the cabinet. When you close the drawer the weight and momentum compresses the piston before it contacts the end of the slides travel, effectively softening the landing. You may have to apply a block on the back of the cabinet to give the piston a place to contact at the correct depth relative to the position of the drawer when it's fully closed.

If the sliders aren't as smooth as you want, you can paint on some Liquid Wrench White Lithium Grease using a small brush. It comes with a straw, but skip that and spray it into a small plastic container. I tried to find a good photo of the slider, but I can't see the specifics of how it's designed to roll. This grease is fantastic though -- and that'd be my first approach. Pull the drawer out as far as you can (so that track is fully extended -- take it all the way out if you need to and brush both sides.
