I'm looking at the https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/bjursta-wall-mounted-drop-leaf-table-brown-black-80217524/ and https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/norberg-wall-mount-drop-leaf-tbl-w-storage-white-20497928/ and wondering of there's a safe and durable way to reverse the hinges so that they fold up instead of down, adding something at the top to hold it in place when closed. What do you think?

I want to save space and mount this rather than having an actual desk, but I like to lean my elbows on my desk while I take notes. Will this hold up?
