I have had plenty of IKEA bedding since I used to work there. I liked the duvet covers, I had one made of lyocell/cotton and one made of cotton. Your sheets are made of lyocell, I had the upgraded version called NATTJASMIN and they always made my hair frizzy in the back. Here are some 100% cotton duvet covers from IKEA I think you would also like: BERGPALM ÄNGSLILJA BLÅVINDA GULBJÖRK I would avoid DVALA, it’s scratchy, and any duvet cover with polyester/cotton blend or polyester. September 27, 2023Difference between Sheet Sets and Pillow case + Duvet cover
I'll try and answer this for you. A fitted sheet goes over the mattress. Many sheet sets in the States have a flat sheet that goes on top of the fitted sheet. These sets come with a pillow case. A duvet goes over your comforter. So these are not the same. I use a mattress protector, then a fitted sheet. Then a duvet with a down comforter inside it. The duvets from Ikea usually come with a pillowcase. I do not use a flat sheet. Some stores sell a bundle where you get the sheets and comforter all together but these are usually synthetic (polyester) and very hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. If I get hot at night, I flip the comforter over and the other side is cool. I try to buy 100% cotton duvet covers and bed sheets although Ikea has recently started selling something that is not cotton (viscose I believe?) and I bought one without realizing it wasn't cotton. It was just okay. I also tried the flannel cotton duvet that is white with red hearts and it was way too thick/heavy/hot for me. I actually like a low thread count as I get really hot at night. So I have bought many Ikea duvet covers over the years. The most recent 3 have all torn at some point within the first year of usage. I don't know if the cotton is just too thin? Their duvet covers are definitely cheaper than other brands but I'm starting to question the quality. I now have three duvet covers sitting in a bag that I'm debating about getting fixed by a seamstress. Otherwise I feel like they're going to total waste. I've already had one repaired previously and that wasn't cheap either... More on reddit.com

i think you basically want to just buy ikea covers for ikea duvets. if you have a non-ikea duvet that you want a cover for, you might not be able to find a perfectly compatible ikea cover.

The size you give is slightly bigger than a UK king but smaller than a super king size. I'm in the UK and had similar issues with ikea bedding, so unless you've bought a duvet from ikea, I'd buy the cover from elsewhere... (dunelm mill/matalan). Some people buy a duvet bigger than the bed size, so if you've got a double bed, you could buy a king size duvet, it hangs over the edge of the bed and gives extra snuggness.
