Hi Everyone,
My Fiancé sleeps hot and I am in the market to get a new Duvet Cover that is linen & Duvet insert that is breathable. Since our current Duvet Cover is from Amazon (MooMee, 100% cotton) with a Down Alternative comforter (Costco, probably polyester).
I haven’t landed on a Duvet Cover yet but I wanted to see if anyone has used this insert before and if they would recommend it to a semi-hot sleeper (Me)

Can’t speak to this one specifically but I got their wool duvet insert recently and I like it a lot. Two things to keep in mind about duvet covers for IKEA inserts. The inserts are not standard sizes so if you get a cover from elsewhere it may not fit precisely. Not necessarily a deal breaker but the other thing is that the inserts don’t have loops either so you could have some movement if the cover is too large. Best to get a duvet cover from IKEA for the best fit. I got linen duvet cover for winter and a cotton/lyocell cover for warmer months and both are great and relatively low priced compared to other stores.

You get what you pay for with IKEA, but my kids have had a couple of these and they’ve been through the wash lots and have held up fine

January 10, 2018 - Perhaps you could do what I did, stretch out your duvet cover and measure length and width and then look for a duvet somewhere other than Ikea to better fit the measurements. In my case the Ikea duvet cover was accurate to it's listed measurements, it was the duvet insert that came nowhere close to it's listed measurements.
