I went to change/clean the aerator on my almaren faucet (came with the flat I rent) and discovered that it, in fact, does not unscrew with a flathead screwdriver. Broke the exterior part of the aerator, but the rest of the piece and the white filter part is still threaded in. I bough the special key to unscrew it, and it seems to be in so tight that the key even snapped when I tried to turn it.
I tried soaking the faucet head in vinegar to loosen any calcium that might have stuck it in place, but have had no luck. Any suggestions?
I’ve changed my old PullOut faucet to a Traditional Faucet thinking it would help me connect my portable dishwasher, only thing is I bought an Ikea faucet…
So I know my aerator is 18.5M (Tiny Junior Size). I’ve found 3 products that could help me for Ikea’s tread, I think the first one should do the job ?
Neoperl 13 0490 5 Cache Adapter, Lead Free Brass Construction for Tiny Junior Size Cache, Male M18.5 x 1 Top Threads, Male 55/64"-27 Bottom Threads, Plastic
Makki-Vent Tap Faucet Aerator Adapter M18.5 to M22. Tiny Junior to 55/64-27. Compatible with IKEA* taps and BRITA filter.
Faucet Adapter Kit, 11 pcs Brass Aerator Adapter Set for Garden Hose, Water Filter, Standard Hose, Male Female Faucet Adapter for Sink
After that I’m a bit confused, the faucet will be converted to a “ Male 55/64-27”, great for Canada. But what adapter for Portable Washer should I buy, would this one do ?
Danco 36108E Portable Dishwasher Faucet Snap Nipple Aerator Adaptor 56/64 in 27 thread or 15/16 in. 27 thread
I would prefer this one since it has an aerator build in, but I don’t think it will fit..
Danco 15/16-Inch-27M/55/64-Inch-in-27F Large Male Dishwasher Aerator Adapter Chrome
Many thanks for the help !

The aerator fell out the tap while washing up and I can’t figure out how to reassemble it. Also this tap has no thread inside it so I can’t find one to buy a replacement.
All advice is much appreciated.

Hi! I want to install a sink filter in my bathroom. It requires that I remove the aerator, which is stuck on because of mineral deposits. It is a hidden aerator seems about tiny junior size apparently from IKEA. I have tried soaking it with citric acid (multiple times and overnight), I have tried multiple faucet aerator removal tools (keys, wrench and a universal tool from DANCO) and they fit but don’t seem to provide enough leverage to loosen it. I can’t find anything useful on the IKEA website. It is driving me nuts. This is what it looks like. TIA!
I'm have a LUNDSKÄR faucet. I want to replace the aerator. I think its to tom thumb size. I could not find anything on the IKEA web site. Please advise.
I own this Ikea faucet:
https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20281382/
I had to remove the aerator to clean sediment out, and spent the last hour trying to reinstall it. The cap will install properly by itself, but as soon as I try to install it with the aerator it causes water to spew all over. It doesn't make any sense! The faucet in my other rooms are Delta and Glacier Bay, they don't have this problem at all!
Thinking I'm going to have to return this one and buy a quality brand...I usually don't make posts like this, and I generally find Ikea products to be as advertised, but they've really dropped the ball here.
Doesn't have any holes around the aerator
Generally the entire head is replaced
Is this similar to one of these? https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vimmern-kitchen-faucet-with-handspray-stainless-steel-color-40519948/ You just change the whole spray section that looks like cylinder that unscrews.

What tool do I need?[IKEA- Dalskar 903.325.27 (part# 124499)]
This is a cross post from IKEA, and I’ve yet to get a good answer. I am posting here to broaden the audience.
Hi. The lever for the mixer on my 10year old sink faucet, Dalskar, is getting harder and harder to turn. After a bit of research, I’ve found the cartridge(the blue part in the photo) maybe able to be replaced.
I am trying to get the cartridge out of the assembly, however, according to the manual, there is a ring that holds it down(see green arrow in diagram), and I don’t know how to remove this ring. The ring is presented in the diagram to have notches, but in my actual faucet, the notches are missing and is a simple ring.
It’s difficult to get a grip of the cartridge, because the cartridge is below the chrome lip, which is indicated to be a separate part. I’ve used friction pads to grip and twist the chrome lip, but it won’t budge.
Does anyone have experience with replacing these cartridges? Is there a tool to remove the ring holding the cartridge?
Thanks in advance for your shared knowledge.
I just had a portable dishwasher delivered. The adapter it comes with is a dual-thread adapter, but it doesn't work with the faucet.
Does anyone know what size adapter I should be looking for to use with this faucet?
Hope it is ok i ask for advice here.
I have an IKEA BOSJÖN tap.
I am trying to replace the filter but it is inside the structure of the tap.
I tried using pliers and a screwdriver but it seems stuck in there.
Any advice what tool i could use ?

Part i am trying to change is 139269 , picture page 5.
Hello! I’ve had this faucet for a year and the hose is leaking just above where it connects to the sprayer head. It’s getting worse and spraying all over the place from multiple places. How can I find a replacement part? Please help! Thank you!
I end up taking my aerator off/on a lot because of a water change tool I have for my fish tanks.
So all that wear and tear caused the female side of the aerator, the part inside the faucet that doesn’t come out, to become stripped. It’s plastic, of course :/
Is there any way to remove and replace that part? NOT the actual aerator which I know how to take off. What am I searching flr when trying to buy the replacement part? How do I remove the old part?
Or am I looking at a whole new faucet? If that’s the case, can someone recommend a brand that has metal threads? lol
