I cant see it clearly, but it looks like the existing brass connectors are actually a reducer fitting and all you'd need to do is take those off to connect the faucet feeds. As a plumber, I can confirm that they are generally kind of a pain to install. There's not much room, generally, the connections aren't standard, the drains are hard to work and adapt to and the faucets are hard to find parts for. The vanity's themselves aren't terrible but block access to the valves and drain for emergency shut-off or drain maintenance situations. I love IKEA products but these are some I would never put in my own home... It always takes 2-3x longer to install than standard equipment
