Late to this post, but hoping this comment will help someone else who spent ages staring at the booklet!! The online PDF is updated and shows a diagram in section 50 that the booklet is missing. For anyone who wants a short answer: the set of unique rails goes on the BIGGEST drawer. I’d say they are close storage wise. Hemmed drawers may be a little deeper but you lose some lateral space by splitting the top drawers. Biggest difference is: height. Malm is lower, no legs construction. Hemmed is more solid (pine) vs Malm particleboard More on reddit.com

Infuriatingly, the measurements of the actual body of the chest of drawers (or the overhang of the 108 cm top) are nowhere to be found on the website or in the instructions manual. Has anyone got one at home that they could measure? Got a tricky spot to fit it into, and knowing how much space it takes up at the bottom is crucial.

Hi,
I'm building a Hemnes 6 drawer chest but am confused about the drawer slideds.
The parts list has part 10085261 with 5 sets of 4 rails, 2 each for the frame and drawers. Each drawer pair has one rail with the new black tab for the new lock mechanism, and a regular drawer rail without the tab.
Then there is also part 10100257 with is a pair of LR drawer rails which both have the tab. The problem is that the instructions never mention this set of rails again. Are they meant for a specific drawer?
My initial thought is that they are meant for the small drawers at the top, but those don't use the locking mechanism, and the instructions also show that drawer being inserted with the black tab on the right side next to the divider where there is no lock mechanism.
This is the only video I could find of anyone assembling it and there's no mention of this pair of rails. https://youtu.be/75yUxL06Di4
