I have a full-size down Hönsbär duvet (now discontinued) that I'm looking to replace with a king-size version. Does anyone know which current warmth rating this corresponds to? The tag features a blue circle inside an orange square.

That was the “Cool” rating, which corresponds to the “Light Warm” rating on current duvets. HÖNSBÄR was 90% feathers, 10% down, whereas FJÄLLARNIKA is 80% feathers, 20% down, so I’d say that 104.574.71 is the equivalent duvet in a king size.

Hi all! I know HONSBAR comes in cooler, warmer, and extra warm. Does anyone know just how warmer each one is? I have the cooler one, but I’m looking to get something a little heavier and so I figured another size up would be good to fill things out. I just don’t want to sweat to death if I can avoid it.
Unless y’all have non-IKEA duvet suggestions but that’s probably against the rules, lol

I can’t give you a number as far as warmness goes but it really depends on where you live and how you sleep. I have the extra warm and when I lived in Minnesota it was great in the winters. When I moved to California originally I didn’t have a problem because I like to sleep cold (AC set to 60 degrees F at night). However I’m now in a place without AC and have to resort to sleeping with the windows open year round and it’s too warm so O don’t use it anymore.

I have the warmer one and it is definitely heavier and warmer than I expected. Haven’t tested in winter yet though! Also spoiler I live in a car so it definitely needs to be warmer than in a house.
