Ikea's in home planning service royally screwed up my kitchen design. Their measurements were comically wrong (they located a window more than 2ft from its location and also got the overall dimensions wrong). They refused to come out and re-measure until I agreed to buy the cabinets from them. I refused to sign anything until I had an accurate design/measurements. I charged the $250 back on my credit card - and the dispute was resolved in my favor in minutes with the emails I had from their planners as my evidence. I ended up using Lowes. Their product line has many more cabinet sizes than Ikea carries so I was able to get a better design and layout for my kitchen. Pricing was a little better than Ikea + hiring out assembly. I also worked with an expert designer who had good ideas to improve my layout from my initial concept. Ikea had few ideas, even with their larger than reality (easier to make thing fit) dimensions. I also had Home Depot do a layout, but the guy at my store was not a kitchen expert and could barely use their software. Their cabinet pricing for basic cabinets was also a lot higher than Lowes - probably 30% more. I generally prefer Home Depot over Lowes, but they sure got the kitchen design and product line pieces right. My only regret is that I didn't do the kitchen years ago! More on reddit.com

I think your work triangle is this setup isn't very efficient. If you put the wall mounted oven on the far right wall and had the stove top in the general area of where you've got the oven now, but would be better. More on reddit.com
