I can't find the US kitchen planner tool anymore. Anyone have a link handy? They might have taken it down. I found the GB one though, which is nice but it doesn't support the imperial system. They have another US kitchen planner tool, but it's not the former drag and drop experience.
Edit
For folks simply looking to mock up designs with the imperial system, Lowes has a similar tool: https://kitchendesign2.lowes.com/.
Hi all, I am looking to remodel my kitchen and have been researching online. Iโve been seeing numerous blog posts about how amazing the online kitchen planner app is and how it allows you to play around with different setups and cabinet designs. I feel like Iโve looked everywhere and canโt find it.
Has this feature been removed? If not, how do I get to it?
Iโm in the process of completely resigning my kitchen. The kitchen will be in a new space in the house so we are creating an entirely new floor plan. An architect helped me figure out the layout but I was hoping to work with an IKEA kitchen designer to create the look and layout as well as build an island. Iโm worried I may be expecting too much from the ikea team and they may not be able to help me create the flow and functionality I am hoping for. Has anyone worked with the Ikea team to completely redesign your kitchen and what was your experience like?
Not sure about the title but essentially want to know what items should I double check when ordering a kitchen after using the kitchen planner?
We had two in person planning sessions - the first assistant was brilliant and warned us of unnecessary additions that the online planner chucks in, but unfortunately it was too early in the reno process and we had to change the layout due to water/waste positions.
Second session was meant to be our final session before placing order, but the assistant was nowhere near as good, and the official quote she sent across contains lots of obviously unnecessary โbitsโ like 5x wireless dimmer even though we have all lighting already sorted, which makes me question what other oversights she left in the design.
Iโm debating putting in an order regularly through my account (as opposed to ordering via the assistant as advised) after manually removing as many of the unnecessary add ons as I can confidently find.
Has anyone done this? Is it a bad idea? Iโm in the UK for reference.
