I bought the leather morabo couch in 2021. I just purchased the ottoman as a footrest (it's back in stock where I live). The finishing looks completely different on the ottoman, it's smoother and mo44 "matte". Is this something that will change overtime, or is it different materials now?

I HAVE THE ANSWER! It’s because in 2021 you actually bought a LANDSKRONA! This family changed to a new name and supplier to MORABO not too long ago!

They will never exactly match. When I used to sell leather sofas for a major company, we would make a note in the order for matching dye lots so that they had the most consistent appearance, even over multiple pieces. You really need to purchase leather furniture that’s meant to match at the same time as it’s a natural product and hides get processed differently over time.
