I got the malm queen size bed in 2005 and it lasted through 5 moves until 2020. After the last move, I had to macgyver it a little to get it back together again, so had to replace it when the next move came. More on reddit.com

Hi! I’m searching for instructions for a low frame malm twin bed. We got used it from my parents for our guest room and from what I can tell, IKEA no longer makes low frames malm beds. Any help is much appreciated!

Buying new furniture for my house. I’m a fan of IKEA and want furniture that will match the black/brown Alex drawers I bought to make a desk. I’ve been eyeing the malm bed because it looks so good on display, but I’m worried about how long it might last. I’m not destructive with furniture or anything like that, and my other ikea furniture has lasted quite a while, but I saw people talking about how wobbly it can get or that the bed itself just broke completely. Is this something I should worry about or am I good to buy one? Thanks!
