I've just found the desk and it seems to have all that I want but upon doing some research it seems that's it doesn't really hold up well. it seems to be quite weak, like the wood is quite poor quality. I don't really rage that often at games but if I were to it seems like i could easily make a dent in the desk. I was wondering if anyone has it and give their thoughts?

No issues from the Malm from me and I use it to WFH. I bought the version with the slide in-out return and ended up removing it as it wasn’t sliding nicely.

Speaking from experience: if you know you're likely to lose your s#¡t plating games, pass on the Malm and go with the Utespelare - the metal frame is much sturdier.

My parents bought a Malm dressing table in 2020 and it's great... Apart from the fact that the drawer doesn't extend all the way out, and this is apparently part of its' design. It means that my parents can't reach the things at the back of the drawer.
Does anyone know if there's an extender, or some way to hack this so that the drawer comes out the full way?

I think this is assembled incorrectly. The rails shouldn't be that far back, they should be closer to the front. Check the assembly instruction and make sure everything is correctly. The other option is that the left and right rails were switched and also the whole thing is standing with its front to the wall.

The drawer is not assembled correctly, I had this malm dressing table and the drawer did open correctly. Similar to the regular malm dresser. I would remove the drawer and rails and reassemble them.
