I have the Micke desk with the two drawers and I love it, but I wish I had some upper storage like they used to sell as the add on.
Short of building the topper myself, what are some good hacks for storage?
Editing to add more specific details: I would like to have shelf space to put books and files and items like that. I do not need drawers. My ceiling height is 9’, so I have plenty of room vertically.

You need to be more specific as to what you have and what you want to do with it (do you want shelves or drawers? how many? how high? etc.). November 12, 2023 - Have been using mine (cupboard version) a computer desk without issues for a while now, it is on the shorter side, non issue as im only 5’8” (175) cm. I have a 23 inch monitor and a mid tower on it and still have plenty of room for a full sized keyboard with palmrest and mouse ... I have one with the cupboard and the shelves/magnetic board attachment. I use mine as a vanity for makeup/hair styling. The big drawer is good for storing eyeshadow palettes and I keep my hair tools in the cupboard when not in use.
