October 5, 2022 - Can anyone shed some light in what is the correct max weight for this bed? On European ikea sites it says max 100 kilo, while on the US IKEA site is says 220lb (100 kilo) per sleeping level. What should I believe in?

Answer (1 of 7): I just put together a Mydal bunk bed for my kids. Before searching this exact same question, I jumped up on the top bunk and rolled around to see if it would hold my weight (~240lbs.). My six year old then got up (~40lbs) and laid with me. The bed didn’t collapse.
