Looking for an affordable (but not crap) offset umbrella for a small patio. Needs to be one that can delivery to Ottawa. Any ideas?
Having gone thru many an umbrella my advice is it’s not a thing to spend a lot of money on because freak storms don’t care if u spent $50 for it at Walmart or $5000 for it at jardin de ville. Better off putting your money into the patio furniture and considering the umbrella as a short term item. My 2 cents! (And no I didn’t pay $5000 for an umbrella 😝) More on reddit.com

I just bought a Högön umbrella with the Svartö base for a rooftop patio. It’s been up for a week and so far so good, I keep it closed when I’m not up there. You will need two 50 pound bags of play sand or something similar to fill up the base and weigh down the umbrella. It swings a bit but not wildly. The vents at the top help to keep it from blowing around. The top half of the umbrella is secured with a few screws so it could be removed pretty easily in preparation for foul weather. Looks identical. Both types last a few seasons, the canopy fades or issue with the mechanism makes me replace them eventually. Didn't notice any real quality difference. The tilting would be nice, but not sure its worth the extra. I use patio stones and screw right it to the deck. Base never moves, the umbrella will definitely fly around if windy.

Looking for an offset patio umbrella. It's a small patio so somewhere around 8 or 9 feet would be great. Want it to be adjustable.
I don't trust the $100 ones on Amazon. Also don't have a car so it needs to be one that can deliver to a place in Ottawa.
Any suggestions?

I got mine from club piscine. Not cheap but not overly expensive as I remember and it’s held up well. They delivered but I can’t remember how much it was.
