I'm moving into college soon and I am buying stuff for my bedroom. I've never really used comforters, duvets, or any standard bed sheets for my bed. I've been using old blankets from when I was like 10 and covering my bed in an old comforter thats probably the same age as me. I'd really like to make my new room look a lot nicer than it has been recently. Does anyone know if Ikea has quality bed sheets that are budget-friendly?

their cotton sheets are great, I love the dvala bottom sheets with elastics, bought several of those lol. and for the rest I got the blue square set , but their duvet cover sizes are very weird, my ikea only carries 150cm or 240cm, one is too tiny, the other one droops over the floor :/

I like the set up they have for warmth/coolness (for the duvet), the price-points, and the variety. Ive been using IKEA bedding since I was a kid. I like that they have 100% cotton options, as i find that most comfortable. I use them at home, and extended family use them at their Bed and Breakfast. They are good value for what you get and the return policy is excellent. My only advice is to stay away from the lowest price-point; Go for mid-level and you'll be happy.

Hi everyone,
I've been buying ikea bedding for a long time. I have old fitted sheets from ikea that needed replacing, so I bought a fitted sheet and noticed there was a size difference even though both said queen. I thought maybe it was the model I got (Viscose sheets, which looked awful) so I bought a second pair in cotton/lycocel instead and it turns out even with a different product name and model the sheets are still too large even though I ordered what was the same sheets I had gotten previously. It also randomly feels cheaper than the ones I've bought in the past.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a model of this sheet currently available that is like the older ones or are they just all this bigger awkward sizing now?

For fitted sheets, you need to look at both the mattress size as well as the mattress thickness.
