November 21, 2021 - The best way of fixing it would be to replace the lights themselves - they can be easily removed from the cabinet. Unfortunately, i don't think that idek is selling those separately. Has anyone managed to get a replacement from Ikea?

We just bought a Storjorm cabinet and I'm wondering if anyone has tried replacing the lights. I'm going to attempt it but was hoping for tips before I start.

They're custom shape LED strips and they come with a built-in power cord/adapter. I'm not sure how you'd go about changing them. Granted, I know nothing about electronics, so this might be easy enough to get around.

No, the tradfri driver is connected directly to the Hue bridge, its paired and I can control the driver but the LEDs still just blinks. I dont think this would work. The Storjorm LED connectors is not the same as the Tradfri ones. Its needs some moding to fit. Instead I connected the original Storjorm driver with an Innr SP 120 smart plug and control the LED that way.

I've searched and found some similar questions about this, but they seem to have a different power supply than this one. I can't seem to find an exact match, but ive found similar items. I just don't know enough about LEDs to know what's important.
This seems to be a common failure, and it asks me that IKEA refuses to sell just the power supply and LEDs, and wants me to buy a whole new mirror instead because the lights stopped working after 6 years.
It says constant current, i think that's important. I think the input side is not critical. I believe the 600mA DC is important as is not exceeding 24V on the output.

And this on ebay.
Would either of these work, or am I looking for the wrong thing?

Hello, I am considering purchasing this cabinet but do not want to install the LED light strips. I reveiwed the assembly guide but the pictures were not clear. Does the mirror on the outside and the door on the inside have indents along edge to insert the LED strip? Or is the mirror on the outside and the door on the inside completely flat? How would my installation plan look? Thank you!

Meanwell makes some very reliable LED drivers, I'm running my entire Ikea kitchen 24 V LED lighting (countertop, drawers, upper cabinets) with their constant voltage dimmers, there is nothing extraordinary with the way Ikea powers their LED lights, however their wiring/connectors are unique. I would suggest you get in touch with the folk at LED supply to figure out the best solution for you. I'm thinking the APC-16-700 comes pretty close to what you need, but I don't have enough information to provide you a solid answer. https://www.ledsupply.com/blog/meanwell-power-supply-guide/ Of course, please ensure that power is disconnected completely before replacing the power supply, you don't want to become the light bulb yourself!!
