Is anyone else having issues with the SheerID 20% off discount for students? I got a {RewardCode} “code” and an email with no code. I contacted support who said others are going through the same thing and to just wait… pretty frustrating since with my order size that’s a pretty big discount haha

I am having the same issue. It won’t even let me verify. Anyone have a code I can use?

I called this morning. Explained the promotion sent last week, that I verified, received email with code but code did not work and would like it applied. They applied the discount to my cart. If you explain properly and calmly, likely they will honor it. But have the items ready to go in your cart and be ready to purchase. I do not think they are going to send out codes via email to use it later. If this is what you would like, highly doubtful. And call and speak with a human. Live chat is not how to handle this.

So I did the student verification a few weeks ago and I still haven’t received an email. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and how y’all fixed it. I spoke to one person in customer service but they said there was nothing to do. I was really relying on the discount to buy stuff for my new place 😭

I didn't run into a problem receiving the code, although it was delivered to my university email address ending in .edu rather than the address associated with my IKEA family account. I haven't tested it out yet to make sure it will work if I order using my non-student email address. Is it possible that the code went to a different email inbox than you generally use? If not, I wonder if you could try verifying again and providing a different email address just to see if that helps at all? Finally, it looks like SheerID, the people who perform the verification, have a website with troubleshooting suggestions and the option to contact them. (I had to do this with the company that does Target's verifications after they rejected me bc my nickname/name on my account is different than my legal name/name associated with my school.)
