I was wondering if IKEA offers Military or Teacher discounts. I tried calling the store and the lady I spoke with seemed like she didn't really know what she was talking about but said if they were offering them, they would be on ikea.com/deals.
It doesn't make sense that they would only offer these discounts on holidays so I figured I would ask here and see if anyone had some ideas thanks!

From the US IKEA website: Does IKEA offer a Military or Veterans discount? IKEA does not offer a Military discount. However, we offer many other ways to save! Get the best opportunity for sales, coupons, and promotions by signing up for IKEA Family. IKEA Family membership is free (and easy) to join. I believe teachers get a discount on teacher appreciation days if the store is hosting any. I know my store did events and discounts for Veteran's Day. Last year around this time they had a 20% off deal for a few months. It was for all teachers and students. I’m in NC, and I don’t see anything similar this year.

Apparently it is gone. I was waiting for this to get cubby shelving for my classroom but the chat associate said that it is only students now (which seems easier to fraud, but okay). Disappointed but oh well!
