Will any twin mattress fit the Tuffing Bunk Bed? We are considering something thicker like the IKEA MORGEDAL or HASVÅG (due to hearing some complaints about the bars causing comfort issues).

My sister and I are planning to replace our 2 huge beds with a bunk bed from Ikea, and the only place we can install it is right under the air conditioner ( placed 225 cm from the ground)

MYDAL was an option we really like, but it's 157cm in height I'm afraid that I will have to sleep with the AC off and it gets up to 40c in the summers.

Our second option is the TUFTING bed 130cm in height, but our weight is a bit of a concern lately after 2 years of working and studying from home, and not having enough space to work out as we used to in our separate rooms years ago.

I weigh around 68kg (150 lbs) and I'll be taking the top bed. she is around maybe 75kg (165lbs). and we don't move a lot, will our weight break the bed or shorten its life? will it even be comfortable?

Hello I was just wondering if the tuffing bunk bed was safe for adults. Since im considering getting it, and they say 100 kilos is the maximum per bed. I am around 80kg and will be on the top bunk. The matress plus pillows and a blanket may weigh around 7 to 8 kilos. The website and a few video reviews have deemed it safe. However, I just wanted to ask for an opinion.

Also, for people who don't think it's safe. Could I ask for an alternative, since a pull out bed wouldn't work in this space and a roll away mattress won't either.
