I'm trying to pay my tolls online using the "pay by plate" option. I assumed I would just enter my license plate number and be on my way. However, the getipass website is trying to get me to buy a transponder which I do not want... Any help?

IIRC setting up an account is not the same as forcing you to get a transponder. The I-Pass site is just the portal used. Though in any case, I would recommend getting a transponder anyways. Cuts the toll price in half
