Are there any good image to image generators out there for free? I was using imggen.ai, but the personalized image generator doesn't work anymore and support doesn't respond. I want to be able to use pictures of my coworkers and make funny art for the office with their faces.

hello, I'm looking for a free AI that has no limit for creating things with AI, I'll probably need it for thumbnails on YouTube, I want an AI that would take a picture based on the picture I give, you know what I mean, I'll give a person's face and I'd like it to be on it, and I'd like it to have basic functions like text to image :) I tested stable diffusion today but even though I have a cool computer it works poorly, I also tested google gemini and they work fine but I don't know if there aren't better things, maybe there's some worse stable diffusion? I’m looking for an AI image generator I can use to create simple images for my articles, mostly as featured images. Since I don’t have a budget for this right now, I’m hoping to stick with free options.

I’ve seen people mention platforms like Vondy, Canva, or Fotor that bring different AI tools to the table, but I’m curious if anyone here has tried them specifically for this kind of use case.

What free tools have worked best for you when it comes to quick, decent quality images?

I want to use an AI image generator to create images for my articles, but know which one is a good option.

I mostly want to great simple images that will be used as as the featured image.

I don't have any money to invest so I just want to use free versions for now.

Before I used Bing regularly in February with Copilot, but recently I have found that it has become much slower and it no longer generates as many images as I wanted (always a problem that it cannot generate anything)

So if you have apps (good ones eh) it would just be so nice (with good quality, similar to bing actually..)

So, I have been trying to use pictures of myself (selfies mostly) and turn them into full-body images of me in various clothes/settings/genres. Things like steampunk, high fantasy, modern, cyberpunk, etc.

The issue I’m having is that most of the ai generators I try will take my picture and either completely change the face, can’t generate a body, or just goes off-the-wall ignoring half the text prompt. The only one I’ve had luck with is Lensa by paying for its Magic Avatars, but there isn’t any ability to customize it or tell it to add an entire body in the picture.

I’m doing this for an illustrated book of short stories that I’ve been working and I wanted the main character to look like me. Conceited? Probably. But I look badass when things actually work.

As my title indicates, there is frustration.

I am not looking for anything crazy, just making some basic still images.

The problem I have with many of them: They aren't actually free, after 1 image or 1 edit you need to pay. Lame. It rarely gets it right the first time so it needs edits.

Additionally, oftentimes the edits fail hard. I'll ask it to say add a flag in the background, and it opts to change the foreground entirely, even when told 'make no other changes'.

So is there a free AI image generator that actually works?

Just looking to have fun - no need for maximum quality. Keen to use other pictures as base (i.e. faces of my friends/other famous people), so image to image generation and not just text prompts. Also keen to know what are the cheapest options available if free options don't provide the minimum service I "need".

instead of text-to-image AI generators, I'm wondering if there are any alternatives to The Looking Glass AI. The Looking Glass AI asks you for an image, to generate images based on them and a theme input.

I tried looking for alternatives myself but I was only able to come across text-to-image generators so far.

I like the new ChatGPT generator but it takes too long to generate images for my purpose. I need something faster but also has the same quality. Google Gemini's Imagen seems to produce only low resolution images... I'm very uneducated in this area and really need advice. Can someone recommend me an engine? For context, I have to generate a lot of images for the B-roll of Instagram reels and TIktoks I record.

I’ve been trying out different AI image generators, but every time there’s some kind of limit. Playground, Leonardo, etc. None of them seem to be actually unlimited and it’s getting frustrating.
