April 13, 2025 - I'm confused that others interpreted this episode so poorly. I was reeled (excuse the pun) into the entire idea of the story. In the immersion into a bygone black and white movie era I found absorbed my very essence. The Dorothy Chambers character was perfectly cast and wonderfully acted.

If the producers wish to do a race/gender swap, just grab anyone from the Bridgerton cast. I'm amazed how this even passed initial screen tests. Emma Corrin, on the other hand, was phenomenal. Her performance carried the entire episode. In a certain montage, there wasn't even any dialogue, and I ran out of tissues. That's what good acting looks like. All in all, "Hotel Reverie" holds a really promising premise. This could have been one of the best Black Mirror stories, were it not for the disastrous miscast.
