Hello, I've been a bit puzzeled by the introduction of "IF" power to immersive engineering, On the one hand things like the blast furnace fans can be powered by RF via ender IO conduit, while on the other you cannot store IF in ender IO capacitor banks.
I've yet to find a way inwhich you can convert the two kinds of power. DW20 only has 1 power converter (by open computers) which claims to take any mod power and convert it but alas it does not convert the new IF.
Why was IF introduced? Was RF powering IE machines planned or a mistake? Why is there no means to convert RF/IF even with diminishing returns like rotary craft (as an example).
So I've been playing Peace of Mind for relaxation as of late and I ran into a issue with power generation. Most of the machines in the mod outside Immersive Engineering run on RF but there isn't really any simple low maintenance RF generation. IE has that but there isn't any direct conversion method in the pack. But I found a workaround, I make coal using a vanilla furnace run by IE's external heater, turn it into Red coal because I have GP to spare, and feed it into a furnace generator. I supply the furnace through a chest and eventually a hopping bonsai pot and the heater is run by a waterwheel setup. It's a pretty simple system & would be good for early game power, but I'm not sure if it will scale to mid & endgame levels yet. I just wanted to share this because I wasn't really seeing anything when i was researching the problem last night.
