What does “A la verga” mean? With no other words, just said by itself.
It has a number of meanings, you won't find just a singular meaning. It expresses: Indisposition to tolerate: Mandé a la verga a mi jefe por fin; ¡Vete a la verga y deja de molestar!; synonym to a la chingada, but probably in a slightly more vulgar register. It's used randomly at the end of phrases like a double intensifier: ¡Esta cerveza está bien chingona a la verga! ["bien chingona" already acts as an intensifier]; Te tardaste un chingo a la verga ["un chingo" already acts as an intensifier]. It's also used in stressful situation, like in your example of the person saying it over and over again during a shootout. I maybe missing some more usages, but that's roughly it. More on reddit.com
