You may want to look into the phrase "in mind" -- to be in one's thoughts or memories. You could say "I did it with you in mind" and "He wrote the letter with his death in mind". I believe this closely conveys what you mean. In English, you can also use the phrase "keep in mind" or "bear in mind", which means that you should remember what is being said. For example: "Bear in mind, tipping is common here." "You should keep your class schedule in mind." Hope this helps! Answer from GrannyReckless on reddit.com

r/grammar on Reddit: is 'In thought of' a real phrase in English?
August 8, 2022 -

"I did it in thought of you" or "In thoughts of you"

"He wrote a letter in thought he'd die first"

English second language here.

I've googled to see if it's grammatically correct, but I can't find anything - like it's not even a proper phrase in the English language. but I know i've seen it before in writing, in English (and no, not just in that one song title that came up when I looked it up).

Was that a literal translation-thing from another language? Because I know some languages have the exact same phrase .

EDIT

I might be mistaking it with "With a thought to" but the meaning is different, so i think the problem is the translation from another language. It's like Japanese has the translated-to-english "read the air" phrase, which basically means "understand the situation around you (regarding people) & don't be tactless."
