car seats have a “usable life” (i know some argue that is a “big baby” scam designed to squeeze more $ out of us)

so ya if your kids have out grown their seats and they aren’t to be used any longer please recycle ♻️ them instead if garbage / landfill!

EDIT / UPDATE: just did this today, it isn’t great

• you have to pay $30 for them to do the right thing

• they give you a “thank you coupon” worth $30 (if you spend $110 and it expires June2024!)

• IMO this is outrageous; the manufacturer/ retailer should be eating recycling fees - also don’t they MAKE money on selling the recycled materials (metal and rigid plastic)

• i walked out without paying and left my carseat in their store - i hope they do the right thing and still send it to be recycled
