I got a epson 970 A3 printer.... could not believe how good prints look. It uses 6 colours and also these printers are 1.5 pl which means you get professional prints not like a normal printer you would get from the shop for normal usage. I bought it to sell A3 prints. It has a rear feed, also 2 cassette paper trays underneath. Also for thicker card and paper in the screen settings it has a thcik paper option so it never struggles with thicker papers..oh and borederless printing too as i needed that for my prints More on reddit.com

I have a bit of an unusual need.
I'm a full time magician / mentalist, and I frequently print predictions on small cards.
My current way of doing this is getting old fast.
I am looking for a printer that can print on card stock (both 2.5" X 3" and 2.5" x 3.5")
I would like to be able to feed the individual cards directly into the machine.
It would be ideal if the card could go straight through during the printing process, without needing to be bent.
I'm not particularly concerned with cost, so would really appreciate any and all suggestions.

A bit late but my Canon Pixma ix6820 prints on 2"x3.5". I print my precut business Cards and earring cards. You can also flip them over and print the backs. It has an option for Card 55mm x 91mm which is a tad bigger but I haven't had any issues with it running 2"x3.5" on that setting. You can set a custom print size for the anything larger than business cards. I wish they would make smaller format printers, now I need 2"x2" but I am stuck printing on letter size and cutting them out which takes forever.

The cards are probably too small for any printer. You should print on larger sheets and then cut out the cards. It would be ideal if the card could go straight through during the printing process, without needing to be bent. The cards are way too small for bending anyways. You will need a printer with a rear paper tray if it is an inkjet printer.
