You need to remove you'r storage (hdd, m.2 ssd) then try to enter the BIOS. If the BIOS is corrupted, you can check my thread which can help you restore it: https://www.reddit.com/r/intelnuc/comments/a3rykv/nuc8i7beh_corrupted_bios_version_56/ Also, if the bios is not corrupted, I recommend creating a bootable live linux usb, mount the fedora storage, rootsh into it, then try to fix it, If you can't fix it, at least with a live usb linux stick you can recover your data. If the storage is encrypted and you don't have the key and don't remember the password, the data is pretty much compromised. More on reddit.com

As the title suggests, I'm trying to access the BIOS to modify the fan profile. Unfortunately, it's a bit tricky... The method only works when unplugging the entire system, waiting a bit, and then plugging it back in, which then displays the "Intel NUC" logo. I need to be quick to press the F2 key during this boot sequence, as normally, pressing it during start-up or restart doesn't bring me to the Bios... and just turns the HDMI on and off during what seems to be the boot sequence, and immediately shows the Windows login. Even restarting via settings or the command prompt doesn't help, fast boot is off in Bios

I've recently been trying to enter BIOS to configure my video ram and enable a virtual core. But i can't enter BIOS. I have an Asus r556l with i5-2500, 1tb memory, 6gb ram, Intel HD 5500 graphics and Windows 10. I have tried spamming f2, delete, insert, and holding fn while spamming f2. But to no avail. Please help.

As much as people like to sling the word BIOS around these days, including the companies making the motherboards, It's not a BIOS, it's a UEFI. They are not the same thing. Please stop referring to them as the same thing. That laptop has USB 3.0, so I'm guessing it's a UEFI.
