What do the H, K, and other letters mean in intel processors.
Intel Core i7-13620H Or Intel Core 7 240H Processor?
U vs H vs G (intel)
Intel Ultra Core 5 vs Intel Core 7
Does Intel Core 7 replace Intel Core i7?
What is the main difference between Intel Core 7 240H and Intel Core i7-13700H?
Is Intel Core 7 240H newer than Intel Core i7-13700H?

I'm looking to buy a computer for video editing and motion graphics, and trying to choose between to candidates.
One has a n Intel I9-13905H, and the other i9-12900HX
Which one is better? - I assumed the higher number = better, but the one with 12900HX is more expensive:/
So i am looking for a laptop for the purpose of Programing, Web Development, Coding, Ui and UX designing and have shortlisted 2 laptops for it, Lenovo ThinkBook 14 and IdeaPad Slim 3 15IRH10, They both are good but one has the Ai Processor with the NPU and one is the i7, Which CPU is better overall for my purpose?
I am buying a laptop and I'll be using it for designing engineering models, running simulations and mathematical models. I know that H processor like i7-8550H is the best option but they are out of my range. Will the U processors work fine for me? I have no idea, what I mean is will the U processor be able to handle the pressure? Will it run properly? Will it overheat to easily?
I’m looking to get a new computer and I’m trying to decide between two same priced options except one has an ultra core 5 and the other core 7. They both have 16 GB ram. I’ve had a core i5 until now and that’s mostly been enough for me. I would like to upgrade in the graphics area a little with this next computer. Ik the ultra core 5 has an Intel arc graphics unit in it whereas the core 7 would have more processing power but just the regular integrated graphics. Idk which one would be better overall.
The only program I use that would push my computers limits is some CAD software like solidworks or onshape. The both ran and were usable on my old device that had the i5 but I would like it to run a little better on my next one. The reason I’m not looking at any options with a dedicated gpu is because at the price I’m looking at, the ones with gpus only have 8 GB of RAM, which might be a bottle neck. And I’m not comfortable with opening it up and adding more RAM myself.
So basically yeah, I’m guessing in applications purely about processing power, the core 7 would be better. Most of my time is spent on chrome, just reading, browsing or watching stuff. But in a use case like CAD, idk which cpu would be better.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm considering buying a ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 Intel variant. They have three Intel Core Ultra processor options - H, U and V series. Any idea how they compare against each other? What are the use cases of each of them?
Also, the three series are described as AI PCs. However, the V series is also categorized as a Copilot+ PC. Is it any good? Just a side note, all three series have a Copilot quick launch key on the keyboard.
Lastly, they have two graphics options - Intel Arc and Intel integrated. The H and V series have Intel Arc graphics, and the U series has Intel integrated graphics. How are they different?
