Hi All, after much investigation I've found that an iPad is probably the best option for my kids, it has to be used solely for learning games/apps. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience using the A2270 iPad in nearly 2025? Would it be ok for just learning games and apps, or a bit sluggish?

May i ask how much you are getting 8th gen for? 9th gen is going for $199 in most places, and 10th gen is going for $249 in some. That isn't chump change by any stretch, but I haven't seen Gen 8 anywhere during my own shopping, and I am wondering if it's much less than these. How old is the kid? If the kid is 8 or under, they aren't going to notice much or need multi-tasking. Heck, maybe not even till they are maybe 10 or 11, will they truly need multi-tasking So if you are getting a spectacular deal on gen 8 that makes it the best value compared to gen 9 or 10 then I say run with it. Kids not gonna have any issues. If it's close in price go 9 or 10 so you can get a few extra years out of it and it will be able to handle multi tasking better, maybe, be better if you ever need to use it.
