Ankers cables are the highest quality I found after getting tired of dealing with Amazon/cheaper cables. In fact the anker cables weren’t that much more expensive I got mine on amazon for free prime shipping and both have been working for a while and look/feel high quality. Highly advise them for anyone looking for lightning cables as well as their portable batteries! More on reddit.com

I got the iPad Pro in late July and the charger is already starting to show some wear and tear, does anyone have any recommendations on third party chargers? My go to is usually Anker but I don’t think they have a braided USB-C to USB-C yet. Also is it safe to use a USB-C to USB with the iPad? Sorry if that’s a dumb question but I saved up for this one and want to be as careful as I can.

I went for a Anker cable + brick combo as my "backpack charger". It's indeed a usb-a to usb-c but it doesn't seem to affect the charging
