The iPad Pro at 10: a decade of unrealized potential
Yeah I’m the prime use case for the iPad. A creative professional that uses it in my workflow. If I’m not drawing on it then it’s only a media consumption device. So a niche tool. For me, it’s truly the best mesh of a touchscreen version of MacOS combined with iOS, and I’m not missing a single thing. ... There’s literally no reason they can’t let you honestly. It works on Mac and on ARM processors.

There is one more thing, which is the reason I have a Pro model. It is the LIDAR function which makes it possible to do 3D scans of rooms and objects. Nobody in here seems to know about that. I have the impression that too many people fall for the "Pro" term and think that the Pro can do "something more" than a non-Pro model. But iPad 10 can run exactly the same apps as the Pro model. OLED folks have their own religion about screens. Like with TV screens for years and years now. So no argument counts there. The 120 Hz is really not used all the time. Battery considerations. And people who might get eye strain should stay away from it. But the "ProMotion" do make the Pro "better" if your usage is such that you benefit from it. But it is pretty expensive to want this feature. We all lived a happy liffe with our devices before we got Promotion. You actually only see it in action when you are scrolling a lot.
