This is likely the last year of software support for it. That said, I love mine and have had it for 6 years now. If you get a good deal, go for it! It will do everything except stage manager and external display support.

I'm in a music school for high schoolers and I take 4 different classes and it's getting a bit tiring to take so many binders and having a mess of papers every semester. I want a 12 inch tablet but an iPad specifically for Apple features like airdrop so my teachers and classmates can share things easily (most people don't have a samsung for smartshare)
Point is, I've been seeing a lot of these used/refurbished for like $300usd and I'm wondering if it's worth it for school, sheet music, and media consumption, plus maybe a few light games. I'm a little worried that it won't get the most recent iOS updates if I heard correctly. Does that matter in my use case?
I found this iPad Pro on Marketplace on Facebook for about $99.20. It comes with a SIM slot, 256 GB, the latest update to iPadOS 17.7.1, the touch is a little broken but that can be replaced, as you can see it is a good offer, I already investigated its application execution power, I want to grab it for multimedia content and to learn illustration and also drawing.
