Artist+animator on a budget and ive found this bundle that perfectly fits my needs on ebay
Would it be worth getting this?
I won’t be taking it out of the house, I’ll be using FlipaClip, ibis paint, and AlightMotion at the most! Probably won’t use it to watch stuff or play games, it’s purely just for art.
I’ve seen stuff recommending the M1 chip since the 2018 iPad pro model might not last much longer, but im not really a professional so im not counting on needing that much power.
Seller said it’s a 1st generation
TLDR: is this a good model, will it hold up, and is it a good idea to shell out £353 on it? (My budget is £360)

I wouldn’t get it purely because battery has probably degraded a huge amount over 6 years. Get refurbished directly through Apple if you want the savings, they put in a brand new battery every time and you get standard warranty.

I would recommend the M1, just in case of the longevity of compatibility. But based on your budget the 2018 Pro would be the best decision. For reference I just got a refurbished 128gb M1 11” in mint condition for 600€, which I considered a good value.
