This is a pretty high demand model I think. Its been out of stock on Apple refurb for a while but judging by the other model's prices I'm guessing it would be around $660. Since the new generation ipads are probably gonna be announced soon is there a change that this one would drop to $600? Is it worth waiting?
Are refurbished iPads from 3rd party sellers worth it? Need to upgrade for digital drawing.

iPad Pro 11 in 3rd gen refurbished vs 4th gen new
Videos
I’m considering buying a 2nd gen iPad Pro that is refurbished. I currently have a 8th gen iPad 32gb of storage and it’s almost completely full and I’ve had to turn off iCloud and basically delete everything off of it so I could continue to use procreate. I have the 1st gen Apple Pencil and if I get the 2nd gen iPad Pro then I won’t have to buy all new accessories. I could afford up to a 5th gen but after doing research it seems like that model isn’t going to getting the updates after this year and will be obsolete soon and I don’t want to spend a significantly more amount of money without getting the benefit of really improved features and for jt to not be supported anymore anyway.
That being said, I thought it would be a good idea to get the oldest cheapest model that has a lot more storage and just keep my old accessories until I can afford a real upgrade.
Is there something obvious that I’m missing? I could spend about $700 all in if anyone knows of a better option for what I need.
