Too good to be true? Mistake? Refurb 5th gen 12.9" for $629USD from Best Buy
(NEW) 2021 Apple iPad Pro 12.9" 5G Tablet - Computers - Woot
iPad 5th gen still worth buying?
ipad 5th generation 128gb(wifi+cellular)for around 162usd
It definitely would hold up, go for it if you will upgrade in next 1 or 2 years, it won’t get iPadOS 17 though, you can also get a iPad 6th gen in this price range without cellular
More on reddit.comHi, Pro friends!
Guess title's basically it. I ordered this iPad Pro from the Best Buy website a couple hours ago and I'm convinced that one of us - either BB or I - made a terrible mistake.
I was looking for a refurbished 5th Generation M1 iPad Pro 12.9" WiFi only with 128GB (and actually hoping to be able to get it from BB since I have a Total Tech membership). Apart from a couple flukes or parts only listings on ebay, the price on every refurb listing I've seen for this model elsewhere (i.e., on Apple, Back Market, Gazelle, Swappa, Amazon, etc.) is over $700. BB refurbished stuff is almost always price higher than others, so I'm stratching my head extra over this find.
The model number, GSRF MHNG3LL/A, on the item description is the same as the 5th gen 12.9 I want, and the specs say it was released in 2021 and has an M1 chip. But again, $629 down from $699 seems wrong.
To avoid the hassle of waiting for it to arrive on Monday, only to return it, I chatted CS a minute ago. All they could tell me is what they see on the same website I see, so it wasn't much help.
Am I missing something? Anyone want to make a wager about what they think is headed my way?
