You can also check with Best Buy - they sometimes offer more for a trade in - just an FYI. It is a sliding scale, but they sometimes offer promotions where they raise the value of a tradein - rare but it happens if they are trying to sell a slow moving item (ie iphone 15 remaining stock)

I have a 7th Gen iPad that I got in 2020 — I love it, and have used it ridiculously since then. It only has 32GB and lately, the battery has been slow to charge but quick to drain.
I’m interested in an iPad mini or an iPad slightly newer, but I’m a bit lost as to what to get or even how to go about a new iPad. If I wanted to trade my iPad in, what would the best place be to do it? I’ve seen Best Buy, Apple (their trade in offers are meh), and even T-Mobile, my carrier… any suggestions?

No idea how you’d go about trading it in 😅. But if you find the 7th gen too big, the mini is your best bet. However, if it’s only slightly an issue, I think the mini may be too small/kind of a downgrade based on your use. (Size wise)

I traded in a 6th gen iPad at Best Buy yesterday, they gave me $90 for it which was $10 more than Apple would have. I also traded in an old MacBook that Apple wouldn’t take at all (my cat had chewed on the corner of the screen). They have iPads on sale this week so I ended up getting a new iPad Air 256 gb for about 43% of the list price after the trade ins and sale.
